I am Carmen Post. My primary areas of practice are family law and criminal law. I practice in Marshall County, Kosciusko County, Fulton County, and surrounding areas. I graduated from law school at Valparaiso University in 2019. Prior to law school, I completed my Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. During law school, I had an internship with the LaPorte County Prosecutors Office. After law school, I worked at a firm in Marshall County where I had a terrific mentor and gained experience with various family and criminal matters.
I am a mother of four beautiful children. Family means everything to me and I understand how important spending time with family is.
My clients tend to be most happy when they reach an agreement outside of court. That is why in my family law cases, I encourage open discussions, mediation, settlement conferences, co-parenting, and communication. In my criminal law cases, I encourage sharing discovery, transparency, discussing law, and strategizing. On occasion, it may be necessary to litigate in the courtroom. It is important to me to know the facts of the case so I can be fully prepared.
